Our Courses

Am I entitled to a certificate when I complete a course?

Once you complete all the course quizzes with accuracy of 60% and up, you are entitled to a PDF certificate with your name and the name of the course, which you can print or send by e-mail.

Can I enroll in more than one course at a time?

Yes, you can. After enrolling in one course you can always enroll in another.

Can I view your courses on a mobile device?

Our courses are flash based, which means – no mobile support at the moment. However, we're working on it. If you wish to receive updates, please sign up using the link on the top of the page.

DO YOUR COURSES CORRESPOND TO ANY ACADEMIC PROGRAM?

Various schools and colleges offer different programs. On most titles, the material is aimed at the fundamentals of every one of the topics most likely to appear in academic programs. If you're looking for academic credit, we offer an online management certificate in collaboration with CALMAT..

How do your online courses work?

Our courses are like online interactive presentations. You take the lessons by navigating between slides. Each slide contains different kinds of content: text, audio, video, questions, activities or weblinks. The lessons are self paced. This means you control the progress of the lesson: you navigate forward only when you feel ready, and you can always go back to revisit an important topic. How long do I have access to the course?

The access duration for each course is noted below the enroll button on the course page.

How long does it take to complete a course?

Our courses are self-paced, meaning that it is entirely up to you. Some learners might take five hours to complete a course, others - twenty. We try to estimate the minimum time it would take the fastest learner to complete a course, and you can find that information in our course descriptions.

How Should I Manage My Time?

The courses are self-paced, but nevertheless do come with a deadline. We recommend taking at least one or two lessons every day. The best part of the day to do so is up to you, and depends on your learning habits and your other commitments. In any case, try not to let more than 2-3 days pass without viewing a lesson, solving a quiz, or writing up an assignment, in order to keep the material fresh in your mind.

How soon can I start studying after purchase?

The access to your chosen course is granted immediately after checkout. This does not apply to CALMAT university certificate courses, in which access is granted after an orientation interview.

Is your certificate recognized by any official institution?

The Global Finance School certificates aren't academic in nature. They're evidence of your understanding and achieving the objectives of the course. As our online school is accredited by ASIC, some institutions and employers might accept your certificate. We'll gladly provide support on this issue - simply contact us.

Must a course be completed in one sitting?

As long as you have access to the course, you may stop and continue at any time. For longer courses, we do recommend ro dedicate at least one hour every day to learning. If you need our advice in planning your learning schedule, contact us.

What are the technical requirements for taking the courses?

For studying online, you must have access to high speed internet, use up-to-date versions of your chosen internet browser, and have Adobe Flash installed. The courses support both PC and Mac computers.

What happens if I run into a technical problem?

Never worry – our contact us form is always available, and our representative will contact you within two business days of submitting your request. You may also consult other students on our community forums or call us anytime at +1 (201) 706-7869.

What if I have a question about the course material?

You are certainly not alone. You may either visit our community forums, where you can consult our experts and other Global Finance School students, or contact us directly.

What is the start date for the course I’m taking?

There's no start date - you start when it's convenient for you. Our courses are self paced, so you don't need to wait for any semester to start.

Who writes the materials for your courses?

The course content is written by our founder, Mr. Solomon Simanovsky, and a team of finance professionals with rich academic experience.

Mr. Simanovsky is the founder of a multimillion-dollar investment house.

Checkout

How do you secure the checkout process?

Credit card payment on our website is operated by Stripe. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available. We also offer two popular external payment methods: PayPal and Checkout by Amazon.

How long after payment will I get access to the course?

The access to the course is granted immediately after payment. Simply click on the My Courses link on top of each site page.

What is your policy for refunds and cancellations?

Please refer to our returns policy. In short, you can get a refund for most courses, for any reason at all, at any point before your certificate is issued.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments through PayPal, Amazon, and all major credit cards.

Technical Difficulties

Can I use my mobile or tablet to take the courses?

We currently support PC/Mac computers, and very soon will enable tablet device support.

I purchased your course on Amazon and I’m having difficulties.

I did not receive my activation code.

An email should be sent to you upon purchase with your login details. If you have not received it, please contact us and we will send you a new one right away.

 

The activation codes are not working.

Please be sure to copy and paste the code into the key text box to avoid any errors. If that doesn't help, contact us with your user/order information and we will get back to you shortly with a solution.

 

The software is installed but all I see is a blank screen.
